I just read an article about how words, used with frequency, can alter your DNA.
Completely change everything about who you are, what you ‘see’ and how you experience life on a cellular level.
And the first three thoughts that came to my mind were (in no particular order):
- I told you so.
- The story we tell has a profoundly greater impact on our lives than any external event ever could.
- I’ve witnessed this truth firsthand.
The motivational experts tell you to ‘believe’.
That in the absence of ‘belief’ you are doomed to fail.
That in order to create the changes you want, you must first ‘believe’ in the aspirations you’ve set forth.
But I’ve been telling you differently.
The facts I’ve seen unfold in my life have been based entirely on altering the story I was telling; yet, completely void of belief.
I’d like to say I was gripped by some sort of esoteric and mythical knowledge that somehow found its way into my consciousness and caused me to climb out of my former depressed, suicidal and doomed state of existence, providing a hefty dose of complete confidence, faith and assurance that what I wanted to become and obtain would, in fact and without question, be mine…
… But I’d be lying wholly.
I didn’t believe. But I learned to ‘accept’.
And so must you.
The rest of the story (and your 2013 plan for success) on Wednesday……
Are you ready to accept? Scroll down and leave your comments below…
